Looking for individuals passionate about helping others! TES works with neurodivergent populations ranging from young children to young adults. We seek team members who can work independently yet thrive in a collaborative environment, receiving mentorship and ongoing training to enhance their skills based in ABA in supporting clients. This position is specifically for our clinic-based center in San Diego. You will work 1:1 in our facility which is well-equipped with access to sensory equipment, various play materials, and supervisor support as needed. 

We are hiring for part-time and full-time positions to support the growth of our clinic services. This role is a great fit for those dedicated to providing compassionate care, working alongside professionals, and creating social opportunities for clients. As a Behavior Interventionist (BI), you will gain valuable experience helping individuals with disabilities improve their quality of life and achieve their goals.

💰  $19.25 - $25.84/hr

*Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, type of credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

🎯 Expectations:
  • Build rapport with clients and implement 1:1 care in a center-based facility 
  • With support from skilled supervisors, learn behavioral strategies 
  • Implement the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with an assent-based approach focusing on treating clients with dignity and respect 
  • Provide individualized interventions focusing on areas such as communication skills, social skills, play skills, motor skills, self-help skills, and self-management skills
  • Consistently collect data and maintain required documentation
  Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (25/50k liability coverage) and have the ability to travel to multiple locations
  • Must clear a current background check through the DOJ/FBI
  • A clear TB Test (within the last 12 months)
