This role is ideal for SLPs who are passionate about supporting students with dyslexia, language-based learning differences, phonological processing challenges, and literacy-related speech and language needs.
You will be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team serving students in our Fairlawn Clinic and partnership schools.


💼 Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
💰 $36 – $41.73/hr*
*Compensation based on experience, credentials, education, and bilingual service delivery.
🕒 Full-time | 31 hours/week

🎯 Role Expectations
In this specialized role, you will:
  • Provide speech-language therapy aligned with student IEPs and Plans of Care
  • Integrate Orton-Gillingham or Wilson-based structured literacy strategies into therapy when appropriate
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and written reports with treatment recommendations
  • Maintain accurate service records and progress monitoring documentation
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support students with literacy-connected speech and language goals, including phonological awareness and language comprehension

✅ Minimum Requirements (OG/Wilson Required)
Applicants must meet all of the following:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Orton-Gillingham and/or Wilson Reading System training (REQUIRED)
    (Candidates without OG or Wilson training will not be considered.)
  • Active SLP license in Ohio, Michigan, or California
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Knowledge of Ohio school-based regulations and special education compliance
  • Ability to pass FBI/BCI background checks
  • Current TB Test
