Come join our School Health team as a School Nurse at Total Education Solutions, where you will support local schools by promoting student health and wellness. In this part-time position, you will collaborate with school teams to address student health needs, conduct vision and hearing screenings, and provide trainings to school staff. 💰 $46.50 - $54.97/hr*
*Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, type of credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

🎯 Expectations:
- Conduct vision and hearing screenings in accordance with school and state guidelines.
- Provide health-related trainings and guidance to school staff (e.g., seizure protocols, diabetes management, medication administration, and other student health supports).
- Assess student health needs and develop clear, concise health reports and documentation for school teams. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and special education teams.
- Navigate and maintain accurate documentation in school-based IEP systems such as Welligent and/or SEIS.
- Travel between school sites as needed to support screenings, consultations, and trainings.
- Demonstrate strong time management, efficiency, and the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple campuses.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A valid California School Nurse credential and a Registered Nurse license issued by the state
- A valid Audiometry certificate
- Knowledge of CA Education Code and CA Code of Regulations, and Office of Education schools' policies, rules, and regulations
- Experience in compliance monitoring of state and federal regulations
- Must pass a background check through local and federal agencies
