Our Desk Help Support Specialist provides technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. At TES, you will be a part of the solution, helping us achieve goals which allow all of our clients to learn and thrive.
💼 DESK HELP SUPPORT SPECIALIST
💰 $28.25 - $36.76/hr*
*Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

🎯 Expectations:
- monitor and respond quickly to incoming IT-related tickets.
- maintain computer systems and act as support if any system goes down.
- support PCs, laptops, printers, servers, and related equipment (monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, etc).
- read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support.
- provide telephone/Zoom technical support for remote users may include but is not limited to answering questions regarding browser software, remote access, printers, etc.
- follow-up with users to ensure issues are resolved before closing tickets.
- provide support in testing and deployment of new applications and systems.
- maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the computing environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of experience
- Experience with application software including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Support experience with Window 7 & Windows 10 desktop environments
- Knowledge of network printing, scanning, and internet technologies
- Access to reliable transportation & the ability to travel to more than one site on any given day and hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (25/50k liability coverage)
- Clear TB test
- Clear Background Check through DOJ/FBI
